Old Treasures - New Life
Dandy Love’s Re-Creations is an environmentally conscious small business based out of Afton, Iowa, specializing in re-purposed furniture, home decor, and more. We have a wide variety of items, including benches, coat racks, book stands, clocks, lamps, wall decor, fishing lures, wooden swords, and more. You’re sure to find an old treasure with a new life. In addition to re-purposed items, we also make natural salves and balms from dandelion-infused oils.
WE DO CUSTOM WORK!

Hi, I'm Tyler!
I grew up with a construction background. My father owned his own construction business, and I would often go to work with him. At twelve years old, I started working full-time for him during the summers.
I got an Associate of Applied Science degree in Gunsmith Technology from Iowa Valley Grinnell Community College in Grinnell, Iowa, in 2015. During my time in that program, I learned to hone my woodworking and metal skills.
After working as a wind turbine technician, I chose to further my education. I attended Simpson College and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science in 2023.
I found a passion for protecting the environment and reducing the number of items that end up in our landfills. Through Dandy Love's Re-creations, I give these items new life and the chance for them to be re-loved for years to come.
Thank you for visiting, and feel free to reach out with any questions!
